What Stories Do Your Blog Pictures Tell?

What Stories Do Your Blog Pictures Tell? You may have noticed in my last post I’m trying something new with my blog post pictures.

I’m still as amateurish as can be but the graphics will get better I promise.

My goal is to create more authentic images that help tell the story of the post. This is meant to help with social media sharing as well. I am a big Pinterst fan and have noticed that longer picture with a few text blocks seem to do really well and are shared.

I hope to work on my pictures to do the same. I’ve gotten some good traffic from that site and it made me realize that with a small change to my pictures, perhaps I could give a big increase to the traffic from social sites.

And even if they don’t pull from Pinterest there is still a possibility that I’ll get traffic through organic image search.

Since this is a very short post I wanted to get your take on this idea. The picture to the left is an idea of what I’ll be doing. Obviously as I better refine the idea the images, fonts, styles will change.

But do you think it will make a change?
